Hey i watched your video, you mentioned you had a through hull exhaust. Is there anyway you could do a video on it? I am on the fence about doing a rear exit with resonator delete on my 2008 speedster 150 215 hp Because I find the factory exhaust isn’t loud in terms of sound output but it is sort of buzzy im assuming because of the stock tunnel exit location. Id love to hear what yours sounds like and see how you did it as well as what your impressions over all are. I want something that sounds good but isnt annoying and id love some imput before i take a hole saw to the back of my hull. Thanks in advance!

The major air restriction on these units is from the lack of ventilation at the hull not the OEM air intake. They all run faster with the seat off. I would like to see mods where the ski is the same speed with the seat as without.

I got a is38 cts turbo, out of warranty and 6k mi later it is leaking oil from turbo seals. Im now eondering if its escaping from where the bead of sealant is. Was considering just buying a new turbine core and installing but now i may try to just reseal it

I have a 2005 seadoo gtx and I am not sure where to find a vacuums port , somewhere in that area that u have yours.my map sensor is there.

Awesome video! Doing this now on rxtx 325 with Solas impeller. My nose cone barely had any grease from factory, not even 1/4 full. Just to clarify, you're saying to not use the green cone that comes with the Solas, the stock is better? Wondering why and also if I should fill my bearing and the black cone fully with xps grease? Thank you, I subscribed!

If you install the seals first and fill the cavity under the pump bearing with grease it will force lubricate and purge the new bearing with fresh OEM grease. Notice the different color of the new bearing lube in the bearing and the seadoo pump grease. There will also be no voids for water to easily seep in. Nice job on the video and wisely packing the seals with grease.

Just rebuilt mine, thanks for the video. Was able to take apart old bearing and use the outer race as a press tool to press the shaft/bearing into the housing. Worked perfectly. Used deep-well 30mm & 32mm sockets to install bearing on shaft. Vice was needed to take it apart but putting together you can do without. Didn’t need any specialty tools Struggled with installing a new wear ring, tried freezing the ring and heating the pump a couple times, didn’t work so well. Ended up using the press with a plate ontop of it and it worked perfectly. Definitely put anti seize in between the impeller and the shaft, ruined my threads on my solas by not using it. little tips and tricks that might help ya out 👍👍

I agree. Bought this a while back on ebay as well. I still use it for my TD17 KVX. I use the two crashes that came with the kit as a splash and china now. I split them and have the splitter sitting in the trigger-in aux. I've noticed that on rare occasions when you play too quietly on the edge cymbal, the bow cymbal gets played. Also, the only real issue I have with it, is that you can only choke one of them, being the edge cymbal (which of course then chokes both), but I don't mind, since it's the splash that I can't choke and it's not like you really ever choke a splash. Also, you kind of still retain the dual zone mechanism for the edge cymbal. If you play bow on the edge cymbal (let's call it cymbal A), it will trigger the sound of cymbal B. If you play edge on cymbal A, it will trigger the sound of cymbal A as intended. So basically, cymbal A is still a fully functional dual zone cymbal with choke functionality, but this splitter makes it so, that you now also have an additional cymbal B (or tom B) which plays the same sound as the bow zone of cymbal A and also gets choked if you choke that fully functional cymbal A. It's pretty cool. I really hope they go back into production again someday. I'd hate to have them break without being able to get another
